DMCA Policy
Copyright notice and takedown policy for Kovex LLC.
Last updated August 2, 2026
1.Overview
Kovex LLC (“Kovex,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects intellectual property rights. This policy describes how we handle notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) and similar laws for content hosted or distributed through Kovex services, including the website, dashboard, Client, and Script Distribution Network (SDN).
2.Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe material available through Kovex infringes your copyright, send a written notice that substantially includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list if multiple works are covered by one notice).
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it (for example, a script id, listing URL, or download URL).
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Send notices to legal@kovex.gg. You may also open a ticket through Support and mark it as a copyright matter.
3.Designated Agent
Interim contact pending completion of Copyright Office designated-agent directory registration. Use the details below for notices until a dedicated directory listing URL is published here.
- Name of designated agent: Kovex LLC Legal
- Organization: Kovex LLC
- Mailing address: Kovex LLC, Attn: DMCA Agent, New Mexico, United States (request full mailing address via legal@kovex.gg for formal service).
- Telephone: Available on request via legal@kovex.gg.
- Email for DMCA notices: legal@kovex.gg
- Copyright Office designated-agent directory listing: To be published here after filing.
4.Takedown Process
Upon receipt of a substantially compliant notice, we may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material, notify the user who provided it, and take other steps we deem appropriate. We may terminate accounts of users who are repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
5.SDN Scripts & Distributed Artifacts
SDN catalog listings, downloadable script jars, icons, and related metadata hosted or mirrored by Kovex are within the scope of this policy. When identifying allegedly infringing material, include the script id, version, listing or download URL, and SHA-256 hash if known so we can locate the pinned artifact quickly.
Removing a catalog listing or disabling a download does not automatically erase copies already installed on user machines. Where feasible, Kovex may also apply remote stop or integrity controls described in the Client EULA and Developer Agreement.
6.Counter-Notification
If your material was removed and you believe the removal was the result of mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification that substantially includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where your address is located (or for any judicial district in which Kovex may be found if your address is outside the United States), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice or that person’s agent.
Send counter-notifications to legal@kovex.gg.
After a valid counter-notification, we may restore the material unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringement, following applicable DMCA timing requirements.
7.Repeat Infringers
In appropriate circumstances, Kovex will disable or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. We may also revoke SDN publishing privileges for developers who repeatedly post infringing material.
8.Misrepresentation
Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may expose you to liability under the DMCA, including costs and attorneys’ fees.
