RuneLite, TwiLite and DreamBot Setup with Kovex
Connect supported OSRS clients to Kovex for consistent account launch, control, automation, and operational visibility.
Choose a supported OSRS client
Kovex supports RuneLite, DreamBot, TRiBot, InuBot, EpicBot, Detuks, and TwiLite. New profiles use TwiLite by default. You can select another supported client when the account or workflow requires it.
Client selection is one part of the profile configuration. Account management remains centered in Kovex, allowing the connected agent to launch and control the selected client. The platform overview at /guides/osrs-account-automation-platform explains how profiles, agents, and plans fit together.
Match the client to your platform
The Windows agent supports RuneLite, DreamBot, TRiBot, InuBot, EpicBot, Detuks, and TwiLite. The Linux agent supports RuneLite and DreamBot. Use these platform boundaries when deciding where each account should run.
For mixed environments, confirm the operating system and client before assigning work to an agent. TwiLite is the default for new profiles, but it is not a Linux client option. Current installation and connection instructions are maintained at /docs.
Connect the Kovex agent
On Windows, download Kovex.exe from Agent Setup. Copy the agent key when it is displayed and paste it into the application. The key is shown once. After the agent connects, Kovex can provide the launch and control functions included with your plan.
Linux users should follow the Linux agent instructions in /docs and use RuneLite or DreamBot. Agent availability depends on the plan: Free supports one concurrent agent, Standard supports two, and Premium supports unlimited concurrent agents.
Prepare account credentials
Profiles can represent Legacy accounts that use an email and password or Jagex Accounts. To import existing credentials, use email:password. If the account includes a time-based one-time password, use email:password:totp.
Account creation is available on Standard and Premium. Created profiles default to TwiLite, while imported profiles can be configured for the supported client required by the workflow. Read /guides/osrs-account-creation-and-hosted-webmail for email and creation guidance.
Add automation and visibility
Standard and Premium plans add automation rules with source categories, stages, and completion categories. Maximum concurrency is configured per agent, so capacity increases across agents rather than drawing from one shared concurrency value.
The tracker and live tools can show running accounts, levels, quest points, GP, and screenshots, subject to plan access. Review /guides/osrs-proxy-and-live-telemetry and /pricing for the next step. Sign in with Discord at /auth/login to configure your account.
