Account types
Where to find itDashboard / Accounts
- Legacy
- An email and password pair. Kovex signs in with those details when it starts the client.
- Jagex account
- A Jagex login with character selection. Kovex captures a session, either during import or on first launch.
Credentials and sessions
Credentials are encrypted before they are stored. They leave the server only for work you ask for: agent jobs such as a launch, check, or appeal, and authenticated reveal or export requests you make yourself in the dashboard.
- A profile without credentials is still useful for tracking, but it cannot be started or checked.
- Jagex profiles can store an authenticator secret so sessions can be renewed without you watching.
- Re-authenticate a Jagex profile from the account row when a session expires.
Profile settings
Open a profile to set how it should launch. Anything you leave unset falls back to its category default.
- Display name
- The label you see in lists. It can follow the in game name or stay locked to your own text.
- Client
- Which client the agent should start for this account.
- Proxy
- A fixed proxy, a random one, or none.
- Default script and world
- The task and world used when you start the account without choosing them.
Status model
The status column is the single source of truth for what Kovex believes an account is doing right now.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Stopped | Nothing is running for this account. |
| Launching | The agent accepted the request and is starting the client. |
| Running | The client is up and reporting telemetry. |
| Stopping | A stop was requested and the client is closing. |
| Error | The launch or session failed. The row explains what to try next. |
| Banned | The account is marked as temporarily or permanently banned. |
