Agents and machines
Install the agent on Windows or Linux, connect it with Discord, name it, and revoke machines you no longer use.

Install on Windows
- Download the installerGet the Windows build from the Downloads workspace.
- Verify and installCompare the SHA-256 value shown next to the download, then run the installer.
- Let the first run finishThe application completes its own setup on first start, which can take a minute.
Install on Linux
The Linux build ships as a single AppImage file for 64-bit systems, so there is nothing to install system wide.
- Make the file executableGive the downloaded AppImage execute permission.
- Run itStart it directly, or add it to your desktop launcher so it survives a reboot.
Connect with Discord
The agent asks you to sign in with Discord the first time it starts. That is what links the machine to your Kovex account, and it only has to be done once per machine.
Online state
The dashboard shows what it currently knows about each linked machine.
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Connected | The agent is running and ready to accept work. |
| Offline | The machine is linked but the agent is not reachable right now. |
| Last seen | When the machine last reported in, which helps you spot a machine that dropped overnight. |
Naming and agent settings
Settings that affect the machine itself live in the agent, not in the dashboard.
- Give each machine a clear name so pickers are readable when several are online.
- Confirm where your clients are installed if automatic detection missed a path.
- Switch on login checking if you want that machine to run account checks.
- Switch on browser automation if you want that machine to run appeals.
Update and revoke

- Update when you are readyThe agent offers updates itself. Install them when no long job is running.
- Revoke machines you no longer useRemoving a machine from the connected list stops it from accepting further work.
