Hosted is the default and needs no setup. Kovex generates an address for each new account and rotates across its own domains.
Custom catch-all IMAP
If you own a domain, Kovex can generate random addresses on it. You only connect the single mailbox that receives everything.
- Set up a catch-all mailboxWith your mail provider, route all mail for the domain into one inbox.
- Add the provider in KovexEnter the domain, IMAP host, port, transport security, mailbox, and password, then save the provider.
- Test the saved providerRun the connection test from the provider list. If it fails, edit the provider and correct the details.
Provider testing and rotation
You can connect more than one domain. Kovex then rotates new addresses across the providers you added.
- Each provider shows whether its last connection test passed.
- Credentials are encrypted at rest and are never shared with other users.
- Remove a provider to stop new addresses being generated on that domain.
Verification messages
Account creation waits for the verification mail that the game sends to the generated address.
- Delivery is normally quick, but provider delays extend the wait.
- A creation job that never receives the mail reports a failure for that account.
- Later mail for the same account keeps arriving at the same address.
