Account categories
Where to find itDashboard / Accounts / Categories
An account category is a label plus an optional set of default launch settings. Accounts without their own settings inherit the category values.
- Create a category, then assign accounts to it from the table or during import.
- Filter the account table by category to work on one pool at a time.
- Accounts with no category are shown as uncategorized and inherit nothing.
Proxy categories
Proxy categories work the same way for network routes. They let you say use anything from this pool instead of naming one proxy.
- Group proxies by provider, country, or quality.
- Point an account or a creation run at the category and let Kovex pick a member.
Inherited defaults
Category defaults cover the settings you would otherwise repeat on every profile.
- Default client
- Used when a profile does not name its own client.
- Default script
- The task started with the client, plus any arguments it needs.
- Default world
- A fixed world, a random free world, a random member world, or automatic.
- Advanced launch options
- Memory, interface scale, and other per machine tuning applied to inherited launches.
Rename and delete
| Change | What happens |
|---|---|
| Rename a category | Assigned accounts and proxies follow the new name. Nothing is unassigned. |
| Edit defaults | Applies to future launches for members that have no setting of their own. |
| Delete a category | The category is cleared from every account or proxy that used it. The records themselves stay. |
